Introduction and A Bit of Venting

Hi friends! I was invited to be a part of this forum as I have recently gotten out of an abusive relationship and am navigating single mom life. I have a 2 year old son who is literally the love of my life and the only reason I've been able to make it through these past few months.
I wanted to express that I've made good progress, but I'm still dealing with a lot of shit (as I bet nearly everyone here is as well). Most recently, I was granted a 2 year Order of Protection, greatly limiting our communication, access to each other, and implementing a set parenting schedule. This is big as my ex holds no reservations insulting, harassing, and threatening me. But thank goodness no more!
I am looking forward to having this forum as another avenue of connection with people going through similar experiences.
